The toilet block was undergoing a revamp but luckily we had an ensuite not far away and the laundry was still functional .
I emptied the old milky looking water from the camper and thoroughly flushed it out and did some running repairs on the water pump wiring and old arb light which needed a new plug end .
Whilst doing this I found my new soldering tool didn't want to work so made do with my larger blowtorch to redo the Anderson plug leads damaged on the border trail.
After lunch the kids hired a couple of pedal carts and we all took turns driving around the park then along the foreshore track
The afternoon brought me to burson for front brakes a few electrical connectors then to Toyota for a timing belt as I still had 36,000 Kms to go before I needed it but I was playing it safe on spares .
Up the road was bunnings were I tried to exchange my soldering blower tool but they were out of stick so 20 minutes later we swapped it out at another store where I also picked up some excellent thermal coffee travel mugs and a new fire lighter all at the bargain price of $8.20 thanks to a checkout chick blunder ( thanks Bunnings ) but in retrospect I did have to travel to fix the issue , lol.
I then drove to a Truck depot for some fancy white wide mudflaps to save underbody damage to the camper water lines and brake lines further up the track .
Back at camp we help packed up ready to leave in the morning the kids did their journals then we had Korean style spare rib rashers with kebabs and salad in the camp kitchen .
One last chance at a civilised shower then it was bedtime all round , thank god we had our Kmart $5 heater to warm the chilly adelaide night for us .
