Palm Valley - Boggy Hole- Kings Canyon

It wasn't hard to be up before the sun this morning but it was a restless sleep for most of the family owing to a snorer next door very close and being a a little warmer .
We were fed and packed up at 830 a new record I think in this camper but I managed a couple of sunset shots over palm paddock .
We said our goodbyes to new found friends who we will probably run into a few more times this week , then we headed back out to Hermansburg where we had a quick look around but decided against the pioneer village , we had mobile reception so we checked emails and Facebook briefly before heading back down the Finke river yet again.
The going at first was very corrugated but after 15 Kms or so became sandy and softer.
The park this side was rugged in its beauty but their were plenty of birds and amazing little purple flowers and sunny side up eggs and yellow paper flowers to admire .
It took us about an hour to reach the boggy hole area and as there were some campers there we kept going on past policemans waterhole and had lunch at flowing waters where were still a few palms and some water to splash in .
The track was in better condition condition than I was lead t believe and it took us about 7 hours with plenty of rests and photo stops along the way to get from Hermannsburg to the resort at Kings Canyon
We enjoyed the sunset briefly throwing its glow over Kings Canyon as we prepared dinner .
A load of washing and a quick swim to freshen up and that was our day done and dusted .
