Windjana Gorge NP to Roebuck plains roadhouse.

A fairly early morning and I was thankful to have parked in ample shade and also having a shower to cleanse the night before .
As we were having brekky we chatted with the ranger about tunnel creek and the dried out gorge full of freshwater crocodiles.
I took a good 30 minutes to sew up my favourite Bintang shorts by hand , double stitched and all , I'm not sure why as they were only $10 but they were very comfy , my grandma would be proud .

Back out after packing up we followed the bumpy road to a dump point for rubbish at the gibb river rd junction then stuck to a good pace until we reached Derby .
Here we took in the jetty topped up on fueled properly aired up  and looked around town , enjoying the prison Boab tree and its storyboards and chatted at length with some travellers .

We didn't go to the doctors here as Dashs ear had gotten better and he wasn't in pain any more think god .
A quick drink and snack and we continued down the road to Broome , we had lunch at a rests area along the road near Willare station along the Fitzroy river.
We reached Roebuck plains roadhouse around 4 pm and setup quickly and relaxed in the pool which was very picturesque amongst the rainforest setting.
It was a nice change to camp on the grassed area as well and top up the camper batteries and water supplies .
The night temperature was much cooler along the coast area and we slept soundly even with the trucks coming and going earlier on in the night .
